I redesigned the brand and ordering interface for Искусство, a Russian restaurant celebrated for its unique blend of food and art. Founded by a painter and his wife, the restaurant offers a Russian dining experience complemented by the husband’s artwork. My goal was to create a new logo and a user-friendly ordering interface. It captured the restaurant's cultural richness and creative spirit and enhanced the user experience.
The inspiration for this logo comes from the first letter И in the store name Искусство, combined with the store's signature grilled meat skewers, creating a visual representation of the letter as if it were a skewered piece of meat.
The logo should always be in blue, beige, black, or a beige symbol with a dark wordmark (and vice versa). It should not use any other colors but can be placed on any color from the Искусство palette, except white logos on yellow or light colors.

The colors reflect Искусство's elegance and artistic vibe. Deep blue adds sophistication, beige and off-white bring warmth, and bold red adds passion, representing the vibrant Russian cuisine.
Featuring the iconic Russian architectural style of onion domes with various delicacies served in the restaurant, inviting you on a journey to savor authentic Russian cuisine.
To effectively reach the target audience of both middle-aged and younger people, the restaurant can advertise on popular social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook, where younger audiences spend much of their time.The ads should focus on the restaurant's unique and exotic cuisine, emphasizing its use of fresh, high-quality ingredients. Messaging could highlight the origins of menu items and any cultural or artistic events the restaurant hosts.
Redesigning the logo for Искусство taught me how to communicate a brand's unique story visually—in this case, the fusion of Russian cuisine and art. Developing the ordering interface reinforced the value of user-friendly design, such as ensuring intuitive navigation and clear visuals, which are essential for enhancing customer satisfaction.
